Rechecking of Answer Script of  Assam Higher Secondary Exam 2026 

The Assam State School Education Board (formerly AHSEC) has officially released the modalities for re-checking of answer scripts for the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking and scanned copies of their answer scripts through the official portal.

₹500 per subject (for both rechecking + scanned copy)

WHAT DOES RECHECKING INCLUDE

Rechecking does NOT mean re-evaluation. It includes:

• Re-totaling of marks
• Checking unanswered questions
• Correction of marking errors
• Scaned Copy will be send to Registered E-mail ID
• Examiner identity will be hidden
• Cannot be used for legal or public purposes

2. Click on “Apply for Re-checking & Scanned Copy of Answer Scripts”
3. Select the subject(s)
4. Fill in required details
5. Pay the application fee online
6. Submit the application
