1. Selection Process for Chauffeur (Driver)

• The recruitment process for the Chauffeur (Driver) post consists of three stages.

Stage-I: Screening Test (Written Examination)

• Candidates will first appear in an objective-type written examination conducted on an OMR sheet.

Exam Pattern

• Duration of Exam: 1 Hour
• Type: Objective Multiple Choice Questions (OMR Based)
• Candidates must score at least 5 marks out of 10 in the Assamese Language section to qualify for the next stage.
• The Assamese language marks are qualifying in nature and will not be considered while preparing the merit list.

Stage-II: Driving Test

• Candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 based on the Screening Test merit will be called for the Driving Test.

Driving Test Pattern

• Candidates must secure at least 20 marks out of 40 (50%) to qualify for the Driving Test.

Stage-III: Interview / Viva-Voce

• Candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 from the Driving Test will be invited for the Interview/Viva-Voce and document verification.
• Marks in Interview / Viva-Voce - 20 Marks
• To qualify, candidates must obtain at least 12 marks out of 20 (60%).

Final Merit for Chauffeur(Driver)

• The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks obtained in the Driving Test and Interview/Viva-Voce.

2. Selection Process for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)

• The selection process for the MTS post consists of two stages.

Stage-I: Written Examination

• The written examination will be conducted on an OMR sheet with objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Exam Pattern

• Duration: 1½ Hours
• Mode: OMR-Based Objective Test
• The Assamese Language section will be of Middle School Standard and is qualifying only.
• Candidates must secure at least 8 marks out of 20 (40%) in the Assamese Language section to qualify.

Stage-II: Interview / Viva-Voce

Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 from the written examination for the Interview/Viva-Voce.

• Marks in Interview / Viva-Voce - 20 Marks
• Candidates must secure at least 12 marks out of 20 (60%) to qualify.

Final Merit for MTS

• The final selection will be made based on the total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Interview/Viva-Voce Excluding Qualifying Assamese Marks.
