Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially announced the examination schedule for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2025. The preliminary examination will be conducted on 5 July 2026 across 35 district headquarters of Assam. Educational Qualification
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
- The qualification must be completed before submission of application
Other Eligibility
- Must be an Indian Citizen
- Must be able to speak Assamese or any other official language of Assam
- Must be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam

- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years

APSC CCE Admit Card 2026
APSC will upload the list of candidates along with Roll Numbers on 8 June 2026. The e-Admission Certificate will be available from 15 June 2026 on the official website of APSC.
Candidates must download their admit cards online as no admit card will be sent by post.

- Open the Admit Card section.
- Click on the APSC CCE Prelims Admit Card 2026 link.
- Enter required login credentials.
- Download and print the admit card for future use.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
1. Preliminary Examination
- Objective type (MCQ)
- Two papers:General Studies I – 200 MarksGeneral Studies II – 200 Marks
- General Studies I – 200 Marks
- General Studies II – 200 Marks
- Duration: 2 hours each
- Negative marking applicable
- This stage is qualifying in nature
2. Main Examination
- Written Examination
- Interview / Personality Test (180 Marks)
Final merit will be based on Main Exam and Interview performance
