AIIMS Guwahati AAO & JAO Admit Card 2026 Released for CBT Examination
Candidates who have applied for the Contractual Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Junior Administrative Officer (JAO) posts at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati can now download their CBT Admit Card. AIIMS Guwahati has officially announced the examination schedule and activated the admit card download link for the Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be held to shortlist candidates for the personal interview.
AIIMS Guwahati has revised the recruitment process for the contractual Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Junior Administrative Officer (JAO) posts. Instead of selecting candidates directly through a Walk-in Interview, the institute will now conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) to shortlist eligible candidates. Candidates qualifying the CBT will be invited for Document Verification and Personal Interview. The change has been made due to the large number of applications received for these posts.

Why is AIIMS Guwahati Conducting a CBT?
AIIMS Guwahati has clarified that the recruitment process for the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Junior Administrative Officer (JAO) posts has been revised due to the large number of applications received.
Initially, the recruitment process was planned through a Walk-in Interview. However, considering the high number of applicants, the Competent Authority decided to introduce a Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting eligible candidates.
Only candidates shortlisted through the CBT will be called for the Document Verification and Personal Interview.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Reach the examination centre according to the reporting time mentioned on the Admit Card.
- Entry after gate closing will not be permitted.
- Candidates will remain under surveillance throughout the examination.
- Any unfair means or misconduct will result in disqualification.
- Entry into the examination hall is permitted only after verification of the Admit Card and Original ID Proof.
- Candidates cannot leave the examination hall before completion of the examination without permission.
- If a candidate leaves the examination hall without permission, re-entry will not be allowed and candidature will be cancelled.
- The original copy of the Admit Card will be collected at the examination centre.
- Keep an additional copy of the Admit Card for future reference.
