The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has announced the ANM Entrance Examination 2026 for admission into the ANM Course in Government ANM Training Schools of Assam for the academic session 2026–27. The entrance examination will be conducted on 11 October 2026 (Sunday) for admission against 369 seats across 11 Government ANM Training Schools in Assam.

The SSUHS ANM Entrance Exam 2026 online application form will be available from 15 September to 27 September 2026 through the official university website. The Admit Card will be available from 1 October 2026. Eligible female candidates who are permanent residents of Assam and have passed HS/10+2 or an equivalent examination can apply after carefully checking the eligibility requirements.

The entrance examination will be conducted for selection of candidates for admission into ANM courses against 369 seats in the following Government ANM Training Schools of Assam:

1. ANM Training School, GMCH, Guwahati
2. Morigaon
3. Goalpara
4. Hailakandi
5. Dima Hasao
6. Jorhat
7. Sivasagar
8. Nagaon
9. Nalbari
10. Dhubri
11. Kokrajhar

The detailed distribution and reservation of seats will be notified by the Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam as per Government norms.

SSUHS ANM Entrance Exam  Important Dates 

SSUHS ANM Eligibility Criteria 2026

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam
• Admission to the ANM course is restricted to female candidates only.

Age Limit

• The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31 December 2026.
• The maximum age limit is 35 years.

Age Relaxation

• For Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and Trained Dais, the maximum age limit is relaxed from 35 years to 42 years

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 12 years of schooling (HS/10+2) from a recognized board such as CBSE/ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or another recognized equivalent examination.

SSUHS ANM Entrance Exam Pattern 2026

The entrance examination will consist of one question paper covering three subjects:

Key Exam Pattern

• Exam Duration: 90 minutes
• Syllabus: Class 10 standard
• Negative Marking: No
• The questions will be available in English and Assamese.
• However, candidates must fill in the OMR sheet in English only.

SSUHS ANM Application Fee

• The required entrance examination fee must be paid online through the payment gateway provided on the SSUHS website.
• PwD (Divyang) candidates with 40% or more disability are exempted from paying the examination fee.

SSUHS ANM Selection Process 2026

• Selection for admission will be based on the marks obtained in the ANM Entrance Examination and the subsequent admission/counselling process.
• The merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in the entrance examination.
