NDA & NA Examination (II) 2026 – Apply Online, Eligibility, Exam Date, Vacancy Details for Admission
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online for admission into the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy (INA). The written examination will be conducted on 13 September 2026 across various examination centres in India.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Nationality
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
AGE LIMIT
Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 01 January 2008 and not later than 01 January 2011 are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification
1. For Army Wing of NDA
Candidates must have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
2. For Air Force, Naval Wings & Naval Academy
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or university.
Candidates appearing in Class 12 examination are also eligible to apply.

NDA 2 2026 Exam Centres
The examination will be conducted at various centres including Guwahati (Dispur), Jorhat, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Shillong and many other cities across India.

Candidates can apply online by following these steps:

- Complete One Time Registration (OTR/URN).
- Fill the Common Application Form (CAF).
- Upload photograph and signature.
- Fill the Examination Specific Form.
- Pay the application fee.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

IMPORTANT POINITS TO REMEMBER
- Candidates must carry a valid Photo ID during examination and SSB process.
- Mobile phones, smart watches and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- There will be negative marking for wrong answers in objective type papers.
- No correction facility will be available after final submission of application form.
