Gauhati University MBA Admission 2026 – Apply Online

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from Gauhati University or any recognized university.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate or in the Honours/Major subject.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories and differently-abled candidates (with 40% or more disability) will receive a 5% relaxation in marks.
• Candidates appearing in the final semester of their Bachelor’s Degree without any backlog may also apply. However, they must fulfill all eligibility conditions before the commencement of the first semester MBA examination. gu

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:

1. Written Entrance Test conducted by Gauhati University.
2. Group Discussion (GD).
3. Personal Interview (PI).

• Candidates who have secured 75 percentile or above in national-level MBA entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, or similar tests may skip the university written test and directly appear for GD and PI. If such candidates also appear in the university test, the higher score will be considered.

• Application Fee: ₹1000/-
• The fee must be paid online while submitting the application form.
• Payment can be made through Internet Banking, UPI, Debit Card, Wallet, or QR.

Candidates seeking admission under special categories must submit the prescribed Other Quota Form along with supporting documents.
