Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply. A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Differently-Abled and EWS candidates as per rules.
Candidates with M.Phil qualification are also eligible for admission into the PhD programme.
Admission Process
Admission into the PhD programme will be conducted through:
- National-level test qualified candidates such as UGC NET/CSIR NET/GATE/CEED through interview.
- ASU Research Test (ASURT).
- Interview/Viva-Voce.
- The entrance examination will contain:
- 50% Research Methodology
- 50% Subject Specific Questions
- Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination will be called for interview
